GDPR at Byggvarubedömningen
Background
BVB Service AB (Byggvarubedömningen) owns and develop a system of assessment of construction-related products. In order to conduct our business, personal data is processed in connection with the use of our Web Service. Byggvarubedömningen is a Personal Data Controller.
The purpose with this policy is for you to know how Byggvarubedömningen handle personal data and that you should feel safe when you entrust personal data to us.
Personal data that is processed
Personal Data (first and last name, email address and telephone number) is collected when a User creates an account in the Web Service.
The User’s personal data that is processed in the Web Service includes, but are not limited, to the following purposes: apply for assessment, complete/comment assessment, assessment under a separately signed non-disclosure agreement, non-public or confidential information when applying for assessment, creation of new logbook, invitation to logbook, add products to logbook, deviation management in logbook, invoicing, account-administration and support.
In addition to Byggvarubedömningen, other actors who work on behalf of Byggvarubedömningen, e.g. consultants, may gain access to the Personal data that Byggvarubedömningen processes,
The User’s personal data may also, in applicable cases, be disclosed to other employees within the Customer’s organization (the company that has an agreement with Byggvarubedömningen) and to other Users of the Web Service when required. Personal data is also stored for our Letter of Information and for other similar mailings where there is a legitimate interest in informing about Byggvarubedömningen’s operations.
Byggvarubedömningen’s collection and processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill, manage and administrate the Web Service. Personal data that is collected through the User’s account is erased twelve (12) months after the User’s account in Byggvarubedömningen has ended. Byggvarubedömningen clear other personal data on a regular basis, and data is saved as long as they are considered necessary.
Rights of the data subject
a) Right to Access
Users of the Web Service are entitled to request access to their Personal data that is processed by Byggvarubedömningen. The information should be easy to understand and be provided free of charge in electronic form.
b) Right to Correction or Erasure
If the Personal data with Byggvarubedömningen is incomplete or in some other way erroneous, Byggvarubedömningen must, on request from the User and without unnecessary delay, correct the Personal data.
If the Personal Data at Byggvarubedömningen are no longer necessary for contract with Byggvarubedömningen or any other statutory purpose, Byggvarubedömningen must, without unnecessary delay, erase the Personal data.
c) Right to Data portability
Users of the Web Service are entitled to receive their Personal data that the User has provided to Byggvarubedömningen in a structured, generally used and machine-readable format. Byggvarubedömningen must not prevent a User from transferring their Personal Data to a Personal Data Controller other than Byggvarubedömningen.
e) Right to lodge Complaints
If Byggvarubedömningen’s Processing of Personal Data is conducted in a manner that contravenes applicable data protection legislation, the User is entitled to lodge a complaint directly to Integritetsmyndigheten (Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection) at imy@imy.se
