We are currently updating assessed product due to the following reasons:

1. Changes in the chemical legislation. With the latest update of Annex VI in the CLP-regulation (ATP13) 34 substances is now covered by new or changed classifications (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:32018R1480&from=EN). Products containing one or more of these substances will be updated, and we will as far as possible try to publish all new versions at the same time. All updates are expected to be ready by September 2019.

Please note, unfortunately we have not managed to finalize this as planned. The assessments will be published on an ongoing basis and we expect all updates to be ready before the end of the year.

2. Changes in the criteria regarding Endocrine disrupting compounds. As of July 1st, 2019, will the criteria in addition to substances listed as CAT1 or 2 in the EU EDS-database also include the EDC-substances listed at the SIN-list from Chemsec (today 123 substances, https://sinlist.chemsec.org/ ) at the accepted level.  As far as possible we will try to publish all updated evaluations at the same time, by July 2019 the latest.

Suppliers who have assessed products that are affected by the updates are currently seeing seeing these as “Bedömning pågår”  under “Mina produkter” when logging in. The updates will be free of charge and will be based on existing data (as a supplier you will not be given the opportunity to send in new information). If you wish to apply for a new assessment for a product that will be updated, please contact bedomning@byggvarubedomningen.se .
